Term	Definition
oblong	When pertaining to a leaf - longer than broad with sides nearly parallel.
operculum	In mosses, the lid which comes off the capsule to release the spores.
ovate	When pertaining to a leaf - shaped like a pointed egg.
ovipositor	The female insect's organ used in depositing her eggs.
