Since the connection to the Missouri River was re-established a few years ago, the number of fish species in the Hidden Lake at Fontenelle Forest has undoubtedly increased. At the same time, the Hidden Lake and the Great Marsh were dredged. Some species, like Bluegill and Carp can often be seen from shore, and especially from on top of the blind. So far only a couple of species have been photographed when the water was clear enough to get usable images. We solicit good photos from other fish species taken in one of our two Nature Centers.
