Description
This beetle is about ½ inch long. It has black elytra with 4 yellow spots. It has a reddish head. It was identified by experts at Bugguide.net.

Occurrence
This beetle is found in deciduous forests. Its overall occurrence in Fontenelle Forest is not known. This one was photographed on the front door of the Nature center.
